The fourth Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) satellite has arrived at Cape Canaveral.
The communications satellite is being prepped for an August launch aboard an Atlas V rocket. “MUOS-4 will complete our near global coverage, reaching further north and south toward the poles than ever before,” said Iris Bombelyn, Lockheed Martin’s vice president for narrowband communications, in a company news release.
MUOS-3 was launched last January.
